It`s been a while but I`m back again to update you of the latest exploits of el capitano and the crew, last weekend we travelled to Spain to complete the purchase of our new berth, I believe we have secured a bargin here! Wonderful World had been moved to her new home, I can tell you we are really pleased with the location, getting in and out is so much easier now with minimal effort required from the crew who on this last occasion, included, first mate el Sharona and the newly qualified scuba diver el Liam.
We also learned that we can visit our neighbouring marina and berth free for up to 2 hours, this is perfect, as we come alongside the friendly maria staff help tie off the boat then we just step ashore from the bow at the same level as the visitor pontoon, simple!
On one occasion, we went ashore on a hot, blue sky day, took a look at some very nice Sealine boats (keep dreaming) then took time out to quench our thirst with cocktails at one of the excellent new chill out bars in the Marina, I can see this arrangement is going to work out just fine for us as we will be able to get out on the boat, stop off for a long lazy menu del dia then go and anchor safely, whatever the sea condition, as we don`t have to leave the harbour walls.
